There are a number of mobile catering pitches in Poole, where we welcome applications from innovative, interesting and healthy food businesses to trade.
Pitch fees vary depending on the location, time of year and event.
Whitecliff Recreation Ground (Harbourside Park)
Are you a registered, self-contained mobile food outlet, with high-quality cuisine and a good-looking branded van or gazebo?
Do you want to sell your gourmet food in one of one of Poole’s premier park locations? Then Whitecliff Recreation Ground is the place for you. Information about applying to trade here can be found on the Street food corner page.
Lake Pier/Rockley Viewpoint
There are currently no pitches at Lake Pier/Rockley Viewpoint as there is a licensed trader with permission to operate on these sites.
This site will be advertised by way of a tender in the Autumn/Winter of 2021/2022.
Baiter (Harbourside Park)
A mobile catering offer has successfully operated at Baiter Recreation Ground for many years. The existing licence to trade is coming to an end and a new licence is being offered with the expected start date of 1 May 2021.
On 29 January, we advertised a tender on Supplying the South West for an operator to provide a catering offer from a mobile vehicle.
The contract will be for an initial two year licence with an option to extend for an additional one year if both parties are in agreement. Therefore, if all extensions were taken, the full length of the contract would be for three years.
If you are interested in trading at this site, please visit the website where full details are published. (If you are a new user to Supplying the South West website, you will need to register first to obtain a username and password before returning to this opportunity).
The closing date for bids is 1 March 2021 at 2pm.

As a local authority, BCP Council has a duty to ensure fairness and transparency in allocating public contracts. It is for this reason that all opportunities identified are offered for tender.
Any such opportunities are advertised on the Supplying the South West website. We advise registering on this site to ensure that no opportunities are missed.
To trade on highways, you will need to apply for a Street Trading Licence. However, currently there are no available pitches identified as being suitable for street trading.
Further information about street trading can be found on our Street trading licence page.
