Mobile catering pitches in Poole’s parks and open spaces

There are a number of mobile catering pitches in Poole, where we welcome applications from innovative, interesting and healthy food businesses to trade.

Pitch fees vary depending on the location, time of year and event.

Whitecliff Recreation Ground (Harbourside Park)

Are you a registered, self-contained mobile food outlet, with high-quality cuisine and a good-looking branded van or gazebo?

Do you want to sell your gourmet food in one of one of Poole’s premier park locations? Then Whitecliff Recreation Ground is the place for you. Information about applying to trade here can be found on the Street food corner page.

Lake Pier/Rockley Viewpoint

There are currently no pitches at Lake Pier/Rockley Viewpoint as there is a licensed trader with permission to operate on these sites.

This site will be advertised by way of a tender in the Autumn/Winter of 2021/2022.

Baiter (Harbourside Park)

A catering offer has successfully operated at Baiter Recreation Ground for many years. The existing licence to trade will end on 28 February 2022.  A new licence will be offered with the expected start date of 1 March 2022.

A tender will be advertised in the Autumn on Supplying the South West for an operator to provide a catering offer from a mobile/semi-permanent vehicle.

The contract will be for an initial two year licence with an option to extend for an additional one year if both parties are in agreement. Therefore, if all extensions were taken, the full length of the contract would be for three years.

If you are interested in trading at this site, please register on the Supplying the South West website to receive notifications when this opportunity becomes live.

Other park and open space sites where catering may be permitted

There are no mobile catering pitches, on a permanent or semi-permanent basis, available in Poole’s other parks or open spaces at the moment. If a site becomes available it will be advertised on the Supplying the South West website.
