Lake Drive Pier is an inner harbour beach. The area also includes Ham Common Nature Reserve and Special Site of Scientific Interest (SSSI).

You can access Lake Pier beach by ramp.
Lake Pier is a designated dog beach and can be used all year round. Always keep dogs on a lead on the promenade. Read our dogs on the beach page.
Please be a responsible owner and pick up after your dog.
Barbecues are not permitted on Lake Pier beach at any time. You may be prosecuted if you attempt to light a barbeque.
Please help us to protect the nearby fragile ecosystems by adhering to this rule.
Open fires are not permitted on any of our beaches at any time. You may be prosecuted if you attempt to light an open fire.
Camping is not permitted on any of our beaches at any time. You may be prosecuted if you attempt to camp anywhere along the seafront.
Boats are not permitted to be left on Lake Pier beach at any time. Boats left on the beach will be subject to removal.
