Coronavirus (COVID-19): change to service

During the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, we have made changes to our services for vulnerable adults to make sure that they are both effective and safe.

See further information about changes to services.

Voluntary work placements give you valuable experience. They look great on your CV. It does not matter what skills you have, you can make a difference to others and the community.

Many volunteers find that volunteering work boosts their confidence, teaches them new skills and improves their education and employment prospects.

Some examples of voluntary work are:

  • charity shop work
  • dog walking
  • football referee
  • youth worker assistant
