Coronavirus (COVID-19): change to service

During the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, we have made changes to our services for vulnerable adults to make sure that they are both effective and safe.

The government expects young people to be in some kind of education or training up to the age of 18 so part time work alongside studies is an option as well as recognised employment with training.

Moving from school or college into work can be a big step. If you would like to go into employment you may need extra advice and support to help you find work. You may not have a clear idea of the type of job which will suit you, we can help match your skills and interests to a range of careers.

Employers are looking for people with higher level skills and qualifications so if you want to find work, finding a job with training will give you better long term prospects.

Jobcentre Plus has the largest database of job vacancies and also runs a programme to help unemployed people find work.
