The Big Paint at Upton Country Park

Young visitors to Upton Country Park can unleash their inner artist this half term with The Big Paint!

Taking place on Wednesday 26 October from 10am – 12pm, this hands-on project will see children using their hands to help create a giant masterpiece inspired by the Lines of Thought exhibition currently on display at Poole Museum.

Volunteers from Lytchett Minster School will be on hand to help with the creative efforts, and will also be making a short film to be screened at the annual Pumpkin Parade later in the week.

Aspiring artists can also take part in create-your-own artwork sessions at 1pm, 2pm and 3pm, making collages using items foraged from Upton Country Park, or follow the Art Trail in and around the Walled Garden.

Activities are suitable for children aged five and above. A charge of £4 applies for children wanting to take part in The Big Paint, and £3 for the create-your-own artwork sessions. Booking is required for all sessions - please call 01202 262753 or e-mail
