For the third year running, Borough of Poole is organising the very popular engineering and manufacturing supply chain event for businesses across Dorset.
The ‘Meet the Buyer’ event on Thursday 5 October from 9am to 12.30pm at the Hamworthy Club in Canford Magna, Poole, brings supply chain managers from world-class engineering and manufacturing companies together with local businesses.
Organised in partnership with Dorset Engineering and Manufacturing Cluster and Christchurch and East Dorset Councils, the free event gives businesses the opportunity to promote their products and services, make valuable contacts, gain insight into different sourcing policies and stimulate local supply chains.
This year, buyers from Aeronautical & General Instruments, AIM Altitude, Atlas Elektronik UK, BAE System, Eurac Poole, Ishida Europe, Siemens Traffic Solutions, Spherea and Wartsila are looking for suppliers.
Julian McLaughlin, Head of Growth and Infrastructure, Borough of Poole, said: “Our Meet the Buyer events are an effective and popular way of opening doors, building relationships and creating a supply chain that is logistically simpler and more sustainable.”
Adrian Trevett, Economic Development Manager, Borough of Poole, said: “We are really pleased that this annual supply chain event is going from strength to strength."
