You can renew your books by downloading the free LibrariesWest app.

You can also renew books:

  • online by logging into your library account- you will need your library card number and PIN
  • by phoning the 24 hour renewal line on 01202 262424
  • in person at any library
  • up to 10 times - after this you should return the item

You cannot renew DVDs, Blu-Ray and CDs but if you keep them longer than the original hire period you can pay the extra hire charge when you bring them back.

If you send a letter we will not reply. Please be sure to quote your library card number and PIN when you contact us.

If someone else has reserved a book you have on loan, we will renew it for you for a week to give you time to get it back to us without incurring a charge.

Courtesy reminders by email
