One way of achieving good health and wellbeing is by increasing levels of sports and physical activity. Leisure Services and Bournemouth and Poole Primary Care Trust wanted to find out about the activities panel members take part in, and how often.

In the survey, almost half (46%) said they eat 5 or more portions of fruit and vegetables a day, with another third (34%) eating 3 or more portions.

2 out of 10 respondents (21%) said they did 30 minutes of moderate exercise at least 20 times a month, just over one half (53%) did exercise up to 10 times a month, while 21% did none. 60% said they would like to do more physical activity.
