We asked panel members about Poole News, the council’s newspaper that’s released 3-4 times a year.
85% of members find Poole News to be a useful source of information. 80% find the information they read useful to them, and 78% find the 10p cost to the council for distributing Poole News as good value for money.
Over two third’s of Panel members (67%) said Poole News was their main source of finding out news and information about the council and its services. Press/TV was the second most popular source (61%) and word of mouth was third most popular with 31%.
5% of members had read Poole News online, with the majority (94%) reading Poole news in paper format.
Half of members told us that they preferred Poole News being published 3-4 times a year, while just over a quarter of members (26%) would prefer Poole News 5-6 times annually.
