In summer 2009 people from all over Poole commented on the council's equalities policy 'Fairness for All' and helped to shape the direction of council services over the next 3 years.
The 'Fairness for All' scheme is a commitment by the council to tackle inequality and respect diversity, in order to provide better quality services and outcomes for the people of Poole. It contains a number of key targets and actions that the council hopes to achieve based around the equalities strands of age, disability, gender, gender identity, race, religion and belief and sexual orientation.
