Elections for the new Unitary Council of Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole were held on Thursday 2 May 2019.

Notices of Election

Nomination papers may be obtained from any of the electoral offices listed below.

Nomination papers must be delivered to the Returning Officer at any of the electoral offices listed below during normal office hours on any day after the date of this notice but no later than 4pm on Wednesday, 3 April 2019.

If the election is contested the poll will take place on Thursday 2 May 2019.

Applications to register to vote much reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 12 midnight on Friday 12 April 2019.

Applications for postal votes, and changes (including cancellations) to existing absent vote arrangements (i.e. postal, proxy and postal proxy) must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at one of the electoral offices listed below by 5pm on Monday, 15 April 2019.

Applications to vote by proxy at this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at one of the electoral offices listed below by 5pm on Wednesday 24 April 2019.

Applications to vote by 'emergency' proxy may be made if a person learns they cannot go to the polling station because of their occupation, service or employment, or a medical condition, illness or disability arises after 5pm on Wednesday 24 April 2019. The application must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at one of the electoral offices listed below by 5pm on Thursday 2 May 2019.
