Votes for the 2019 European Parliamentary election will be counted and declared on Sunday 26 May.

Mobile unit: youth work

The project is a working partnership between our youth service and Dorset Police.

The aim is to engage with young people in areas of Poole where there is little or no other youth provision on 4 evenings per week.

The project offers young people:

  • a place to sit and chat with youth workers
  • information and advice on a range of topics from health education to careers guidance
  • a chance to participate in positive activities from interactive DVDs to sports

Come and see our youth worker, Adrian Wilkins, who will be out and about around the Poole in the mobile unit.

Adrian will be arranging activities for young people aged between 13 and 19 years old and giving youth related advice and information. Things to do include:

  • watching TV
  • playing on the PlayStation
  • interactive gaming
  • watching DVDs
  • sports equipment for football, cricket and volleyball

The mobile unit also has:

  • a seating area
  • drink facilities
  • protective covering for shelter
  • heating
  • wheelchair access

What's on

The mobile unit will be out and about from Monday to Saturday evenings. For more details contact Adrian.
