COVID-19: The Chancellor has set out a package of temporary measures to support businesses through this period of disruption caused by COVID-19.
There are a few ways you can pay your business rates (non-domestic rates)/BID, including setting up a Direct Debit, paying online or paying over the phone. If you are unsure, you can check who is liable to pay business rates.
Pay by Direct Debit
Setting up a Direct Debit is the safest and most convenient way to pay your business rates.
We offer a choice of payment dates: the 1st, 15th or 25th day of each month.
A Direct Debit can be cancelled at any time by contacting your bank or building society.
You can make a one-off debit or credit card payment online via our secure ePayment line.
Pay by phone
You can make a one-off debit or credit card payment via our 24 hour automated payment service.
Please call 01202 672932 to make a payment over the phone.
Internet Banking or Standing Order
You can make arrangements with your bank or building society to set up regular payments to us. You will need the following details:
- bank sort code: 20-68-95
- bank account number: 20627437
- Business Rates reference
If you have any queries about making payments, you can email firstname.lastname@example.org or phone 01202 123331.
