Tell Us Once is a service that lets you report a death to many government organisations when you register a death.
Our Registrars will undertake the service with you in full at the time of your appointment provided you have brought the National Insurance number of the deceased with you.
Alternatively, the Registrar can give you an access code for the service which will allow you to complete the process yourself either by telephone or via the internet.
If you wish to undertake the full service please bring the following information with you to the appointment (if appropriate):
- National Insurance number (of the person who has died)
- driving licence
- concessionary bus pass
- library card
- disabled parking blue badge
- details of any benefits being received (if appropriate)
If the deceased was in receipt of a Public Sector Pension we may be able to advise them for you.
