Notice is hereby given that application has been received for the following premises to be licensed for the solemnisation of marriages and registration of civil partnerships:
Canford School, Wimborne, Dorset, BH21 3AD
The Council of the Borough and County of the Town of Poole which is responsible for the registration of births, deaths, marriages and civil partnerships within the Borough of Poole wishes to give notice that Canford School, Wimborne BH21 3AD whose registered office is Cheneford Ltd, The Bursary, Canford School, Wimborne Dorset BH21 3AD (Company Reg. No. 02694274), has applied for renewal of the approval for the rooms known as The Great Hall, The Long Gallery (including The Headmaster’s Lobby), The Old Library Lobby, The John O’Gaunts Room, The Salisbury Chamber and the approval of new rooms known as The Drawing Room and the The Old Library to be approved premises for the solemnisation of civil marriages under Section 26(1)(bb) of the Marriage Act 1949 and the formation of civil partnerships under Section 6(3A)(a) of the Civil Partnership Act 2004.
The application, together with a copy of the plan of the premises, are being held and may be viewed, at the Reception Counter at Civic Centre, Poole, Dorset BH15 2RU during normal office hours.
Any objection concerning the proposed grant of approval for the above premises should be sent to me, in writing, giving reasons for those objections at the Borough of Poole, Civic Centre, Poole Dorset BH15 2RU, stating the reasons for the objection within 21 days from the date this Notice is published.
