  • Bournemouth
  • Brockenhurst
  • Southampton
  • Southampton Airport
  • Winchester

Poole is well served by its centrally placed railway station adjacent to the High Street and Dolphin Shopping Centre. See live departure information from Poole Station.

You can also check live departure information for other local stations, which have direct trains to London:

Hamworthy
Parkstone
Branksome

The railway line also continues West and is an excellent method of avoiding the traffic queues when travelling to:

  • Wareham
  • Wool
  • Dorchester
  • Weymouth

Plusbus ticket

If you're arriving in Poole or Branksome by train, why not add a Plusbus  ticket for onward bus travel? A wide area is covered including Wimborne, Sandbanks, Bournemouth and Christchurch as shown on the map.

For regular commuters season tickets are also available. Ask for a Plusbus ticket when ordering your ticket on line or at the booking office.

Route ONE from Poole Railway Station

Finally don't forget Poole's town centre bus Route ONE which links the rail and bus stations with the major attractions in the town. The distinctive sky blue buses run up to every 15 minutes on a simple circular route to the High Street, Poole Quay and Park. If it's your first time in Poole, this is a great way of discovering the layout of the town, plus the views of the harbour from the bus are superb!
