Community Toilet Scheme

What is the Community Toilet Scheme?

Our Community Toilet Scheme is a partnership between the council, local businesses and other partners.

It means you can access toilet facilities in participating premises, during their normal opening hours free of charge and without having to purchase anything.

The council is looking at different ways to provide access to clean, safe toilets in Poole that provide good value for money. By working in partnership with local businesses the council is able to offer a much better standard of facilities than in traditional public toilets.

Many of our public toilet buildings are ageing and in poor condition. The cost of carrying out refurbishment works to all public toilets over the next 10 years has been estimated at £1.3 million.

How it works

Members of the scheme display the ‘use our loo’ sticker in their window to show which facilities are available. The ‘Use Our Loo’ sticker means you are welcome to use the facilities in these premises free of charge.

Information about Community Toilet locations and their opening hours and available facilities can be seen by clicking on the relevant marker on the map or alternatively you can view public toilets as text. You will find facilities available at the following locations:

Broadstone

Canford Heath

Hamworthy

Parkstone

Town Centre

If you experience problems with the facilities at any of these premises, please report it to a member of their staff.
