Site Specific Allocations Front Cover (LDF) The Site Specific Allocations Development Plan Document will build upon the strategic needs set out in the Core Strategy by identifying where and how we can deliver the future requirements for the town. Evidence already gathered demonstrates 5 distinguishable themes that could help shape future development in Poole. The themes include providing enough homes and jobs for everyone, addressing transport problems throughout the Borough, providing improved community facilities and appropriate respect for the environment.

 


The timetable for the Site Specific Allocations Document is set out below:  
  • Issues and Options - 30th July 2007 to 10th September 2007 - Consultation on a range of issues, responses will be used to inform the Preferred Options.
  • Preferred Options - June / July 2008 - Consultation on Preferred Options.
  • Submission Document - April 2009 - Site Specific Allocations Document submitted to Secretary of State
  • Public Examination - March to May 2010
  • Adoption - October 2010
