Fees
Our aim is to make as much information as we can, freely available to the public. However if requests are received for information that place a substantial cost on the Council in terms of staff time and/or reproduction costs, then a charge may be levied.
All our existing fees, as identified in the Publication Scheme, will not be affected by the Freedom of Information Act. This includes information accessible under the Data Protection Act 1998 and the Environment Information Regulations 1992 Act.
When information is requested that incurs a fee the applicant will be advised of the fee in writing before the information is despatched. Information will only be dispatched in receipt of full payment.
