1App has arrived in the Borough of Poole!
In the past, Local Planning Authorities (LPAs) have each produced their own planning application forms. The forms have differed dramatically - an inconsistency in the planning process, which can often lead to confusion.
1APP aims to end these discrepancies by ensuring the same information is requested by every LPA in England.
This makes the planning system clearer for planning professionals and citizens alike and results in major efficiency savings for all parties.
The new standard planning application forms are now available online via the Borough of Poole Planning Web Site as well as in a paper format by either visiting the Planning Department at the Civic Centre or telephoning us on 01202 633321
Please note the new 1App forms will be the only Planning Application Forms acceptable from 2nd January 2008 and you are advised to run down any existing stock of forms you may have.

Timetable
- 5th November - Run down existing stocks of application forms
- 5th December -1APP forms available for downloading on Planning website
- 5th December - 1APP forms acceptable for applications
- 2nd January - Existing application forms will no longer be valid
