Poole Bridge Regeneration Area Action Plan - Sustainability Appraisal

The Council has issued for consultation its preferred option for the delivery of proposed development in lower Hamworthy and along West Quay Road.

The Sustainability Appraisal looks at the options that have been considered and undertakes an assessment of the environmental, social and economic impacts of the draft Area Action Plan. It goes on to indicate any mitigating measures that might be required and / or changes to the draft plan that would make it more sustainable.

The sustainability appraisal of the draft Plan is available for comment for 6 weeks commencing Friday 16th September and closing 28th October 2005.

Any representations may be accompanied by a request to be notified at a specific address that the DPD has been submitted to the Secretary of State for independent examination under section 20 and of the adoption of a DPD. In order that the Council can endeavour to engage you in a way that suits you.

The Sustainability Appraisal can be viewed at all Poole libraries and Strategic Planning Services reception desk in the Civic Centre (open between 08.30am to 17.15pm Monday to Thursday and 08.30am to 16.45pm Fridays).
