February Fun at Poole Museum

Poole Museum has lots of fun free activities available for families this half term.

Starting Tuesday 16 February until Sunday 21 February, take part in the half term trail where you can explore all three floors of the museum with a self guided trail. Follow the clues and find out about all of the beautiful arts and crafts in Poole Museum.

On Tuesday 16 February (11am-3pm) join the RSPB at Poole Museum to make swirling, twirling ladybird crafts to take away. Take part in Tall Tales and Takeaways on Wednesday 17 February (11am-3pm) and have a go at sea-themed make and take craft activities. Listen to sea stories and take part in the seaside trail. Both activities are suitable for children aged 4-10 years old and will take place in the family area. Materials are included.

Cllr Mohan Iyengar, Portfolio Holder for Culture and Leisure, Borough of Poole, said: “Don’t overlook Poole Museum this half term. It’s local and free and a super way to learn about the history of Poole in an enjoyable way. From centuries gone by to the recent past - I recommend it.”

Poole Museum is open Tuesday to Saturday 10am-4pm and Sunday 12noon-4pm. For more information about all events and activities visit www.poolemuseum.co.uk or call 01202 262600.
