Poole's Supported Living Service Performing Well

Poole's Supported Living Schemes fully meet all quality standards, a recent Care Quality Commission (CQC) inspection found.

Supported Living Schemes in Poole help people with learning disabilities to live in their own homes by ensuring that they get the practical assistance and personal care that they require to keep them safe and to live lives that are as independent as possible.

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) have recently inspected Borough of Poole's Supported Living Service and judged that it fully meets all of the quality standards that were inspected. CQC said that Borough of Poole respected and involved the people who use the service, provide good standards of care and protected the people who live in the supported living schemes from abuse.

Cllr Peter Adams, Portfolio Holder for Adult Social Care, Borough of Poole, said: "I am delighted that the excellent performance of adult social care continues with this very positive Care Quality Commission judgement. It is important that we provide the highest quality care  to vulnerable people in Poole, and this latest inspection report for supported living services demonstrates that we are doing this."

Poole's Supported Living Service offers support to adults living in flats in Christopher Crescent and Ashmore House.
