New play sessions for disabled children

Branksome Children's Centre in Poole is offering new play sessions for under-fives with a special need or disability.

The ‘Special Times’ play sessions are free and take place every Thursday between 10am and 11.30am. The sessions are supported by specially-trained play workers and held in a safe and cosy activity area. There is no need to book, just come along to Branksome Children’s Centre at 350 Poole Road, opposite Tesco’s. You will be sure of a warm welcome, lots of fun and free cups of tea.

Karen Loftus, Children’s Centre Manager, Borough of Poole, said: "These sessions give disabled children the opportunity to develop a range of vital skills and also make new friends. Parents benefit from being able to discuss their child’s needs with experts from Fernheath Play."

Fernheath Play is an inclusive play and short breaks centre for families of children with disabilities based in West Howe, Bournemouth.
