Poole News arrives in Town's homes

The latest edition of the Poole News, published by the Borough of Poole, will be delivered to homes throughout the area on the Thursday 19 July 2001.

This edition includes a special four page feature explaining how the Borough of Poole is working with the Police on Community Safety.

Other features in this edition include:

• The outcome of the Jules Jolliffe campaign
• An introduction to this summer’s special events including "On the Beach"
• A full page of fantastic summer reader offers
• Ward features on Alderney and Harbour Wards
• Poole events diary: Key events in Poole from July to October
• The shape of things to come for Poole: An update of plans and proposals for Poole
• The latest information on roadworks in Poole

Cllr Bob Williams, Deputy Leader of the Council, said: "Poole News is a valuable way for us to keep in touch with local residents. In this edition, we especially wanted to show local people how they have helped to make important choices for the town’s future and to have an opportunity to thank all those who contributed by voting for their preferred choice."
