Central Library children's area gets a makeover
Mayor opens refurbished Children's Library
New-look children's library opened by Mayor and Cllr Butt

The Children's area in Poole Central Library has a clean, bright, fresh look.  With a brand-new seaside theme it has the latest children's library furniture and shelving, a new carpet with colourful new rugs, and (best of all) lots of new books.

The Mayor of Poole, Councillor Carol Evans and Councillor Judy Butt were there to welcome children from Longfleet CE VC Combined School for the launch.  The children loved exploring the new area, and quickly found books to enjoy, making themselves comfortable on the new seating - especially the 'reading hideaway'.  We now have a wonderful area for the 'buoys' and 'gulls' of Poole to enjoy, so why not come along and have a look for yourselves?
