Adult Social Care - Tell us about it!

"Our relative has mobility issues and suffered several nasty falls, and consequently the Occupational Therapist (OT) became involved and looked after her case, with a view to making her safer in her home.  All the OT’s work was done in a very professional manner, with sensitivity, kindness, compassion and understanding when encouraging our relative to accept aids and changes to her home to ensure she is safer and stays safe.  The OT is an exceptional, caring person who is passionate about what she does and afforded the utmost care and concern.  She knows her job well and does what’s best for the client.

The OT always had time to talk with us about any concerns or questions we had.  She returned calls promptly and kept us up-to-date with developments.  She is a wonderful, professional lady, and also a very conscientious one.  There aren’t enough words to describe what a rare gem our OT is."

This is what Mr and Mrs C told us about their relative’s OT.

In Adult Social Care we think it’s really important to listen to what the people who use our services - like Mrs K above - think.  We believe the services we offer are of high quality and good value for money, but we are always keen to hear what you think we can do to improve services to meet your individual care needs.

Here's what some of you have told us recently, and the changes we have made as a result:
