This playground is suitable for children between the ages of 3 - 12 years and is situated in Alexandra Park, Parkstone.

The current play equipment at this play area is manufactured and installed to comply with European Standards.

Dog proof fencing has been installed and all items of equipment are provided with a safety surface where required.

To ensure the safety of users, each site is inspected daily. An annual inspection is also carried out by a recognised qualified organisation such as the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) who prepare a safety audit and a report which is used to plan long term maintenance.

The Council is reviewing existing play provision in Poole and will be developing a play strategy to guide future development.
