About this park

Branksome Dene is an area of steeply sided woodland valley adjoining the Branksome Dene beach. This area also houses the Branksome Dene Chine nature reserve.

Please note the paths are narrow and steep-sided, with rough ground and steps

Great for

Short woodland walks, views across the sea.

Parking

There is limited parking on roads near the park, or you can use the pay and display car park in Pinewood Road.

Dogs

Dogs are allowed at Branksome Dene.
Branksome Dene Chine is a designated dog beach and can be used all year round. Dogs are allowed from the eastern side of Branksome Chine Beach Office to the Poole and Bournemouth boundary.
Dogs should always be kept on a lead on the promenade.
