The present equipment consist of a large climbing frame with a long slide situated on top of a banked area locally called "Monkeys Hump" there is also a separate cabin slide, junior and cradle swings, a small wide slide aimed at younger children, a four seat "buck-about" springer and a pair of talk tubes.
There is also seating for parents and carers which includes a picnic tables all situated within the fenced dog free area suitable for children aged between 3 and 14 years old.

The play equipment in this play area was manufactured and installed to comply with current safety standards applying at the time of installation and all items of equipment are provided with a safer surface where required.
The play equipment and the immediate surrounding areas are inspected on a regular basis. An annual inspection is also carried out by an independent qualified organisation that prepares a safety audit and a report to enable the Council to plan long term maintenance and renewal.
The play area can be accessed from Kingland Road or from two gates in Poole Park. Toilets and car parking is available close by and there is also on street car parking on Kingland Road.
