Halstock Crescent Play Area
General View

This is one of our oldest and smallest play areas situated in a wooded area just off Longfleet Lane, one of the main access paths on to Canford Heath Nature Reserve.

The equipment consists of a large climbing frame with double slides and a set of swings including two flat junior seats and two cradle seats. The playground is suitable for children between the ages of 3 to 14 years old.

The play equipment in this play area was manufactured and installed to comply with current safety standards applying at the time of installation and all items of equipment are provided with a safer surface where required.

The play equipment and the immediate surrounding areas are inspected on a regular basis. An annual inspection is also carried out by an independent qualified organisation that prepares a safety audit and a report to enable the Council to plan long term maintenance and renewal.

Parking is available on local roads and access is available via the good footpath network with access from Halstock Crescent and Redhoave Road.
