RADAR Keys

The National Key Scheme operated by RADAR (Royal Association for Disability Rights) provides access for disabled people to 9,000 locked public toilets around the UK.

Who can apply for them?

The key can be purchased by anyone with a permanent disability. You will need to bring evidence to support this.

Examples of suitable evidence include;

  • Blue Parking Badge
  • A hospital/GP letter
  • Any letter referring to the payment of Disability Living Allowance or other disability benefit

There is also an application form to be filled in, which can be downloaded in advance from this website. Regrettably, we are unable to accept this form by email because it must have a signature. Please print the form, sign it and bring it with you when you make your application.
