Poole has 41 toilets available for the public to use. 25 of these are toilets maintained by the Council, the rest are maintained by others and some are provided through the Community Toilet Scheme. Information about toilet locations and their opening hours, charges and available facilities can be seen by clicking on the relevant marker on the map or alternatively you can view public toilets as text.

Opening Times

Most public toilets are open between 8am till 8pm in the summer (25th March to 30th September) and 8am until 6pm in the winter (1st October to 24th March). Toilets on Poole’s beaches stay open until 10pm during the summer season. Seven public toilets are open 24 hours per day. Community Toilets and toilets in public libraries are open during their business hours.

Community Toilet Scheme

The Community Toilet Scheme is a new partnership between Borough of Poole, local businesses and other providers to give better access to toilets in Poole.  Please visit our Community Toilet Scheme page for more information on where to find Community Toilets and how the scheme works.

Accessible toilets and RADAR Keys

Access to the 19 public toilets that have separate accessible facilities is by a key from the RADAR National Key Scheme. Visit our RADAR key web page for more information about the scheme in Poole. You do not need a RADAR key to use the accessible toilets provided by the Community Toilet Scheme. Baby Changing Facilities

11 public toilets have a family room where baby changing facilities can be used by men and women. 10 public toilets have baby changing facilities in the ladies only. Cleaning and Repairs

All public toilets are cleaned and inspected on a regular basis.

If you spot any problems with the cleanliness of public toilets or something needs repairing, please report it to us and we will arrange to fix it as soon as possible.
