Poppy Making Workshop

A free hands-on workshop will take place in the Dolphin Shopping Centre giving families a chance to work with local artists to make a poppy using a mix of craft materials. The poppies will form part of a local exhibition and World War One project.

Poppy Fields celebrates those involved in World War 1 in Poole. This performance takes place in the beautiful location of Green Park designated a site for public recreation in 1917, to share the stories of those who lived and died during The Great War. The site is accessed from Longfleet Road. Thanks to the Heritage Lottery Grant, Valise Noire have spent time researching the role of nurses working in the Cornelia Hospital and the effects of the Cordite Factory. For further information and to book your free ticket, please visit: valisenoiretheatre.blogspot.co.uk

World War One Exhibition
