Multi-agency training

The Safer Poole Partnership offers the following training for public sector, voluntary and community sector employees:

  • Domestic Abuse Awareness Training 
    This day-long CPD-accredited course is aimed at all front-line workers and gives a thorough overview of the characteristics of domestic abuse and the support available to victims.

  • MARAC (Multi-Agency Risk Assessment Conference) 
    This half-day course is for front-line professionals who have completed the Domestic Abuse Awareness course. It is particularly relevant to those working directly with client groups likely to be affected by domestic abuse.

  • Sexual Violence Awareness 
    This half-day CPD-accredited course is suitable for all front-line professionals who want to know more about the impact of sexual violence and improve responses to disclosures.

  • Honour-Based Abuse and Forced Marriage Awareness 
    This course has been accredited by Karma Nirvana. It is intended for practitioners who have little or no knowledge of honour based abuse and forced marriage.

  • Abuse Within Adolescent Relationships 
    This half-day course will help those working with young people to recognise the signs of relationship abuse and deal with disclosures. You must have completed Domestic Abuse Awareness and MARAC Training before attending this training.

  • WRAP (Workshop to Raise Awareness of Prevent) 
    This interactive course is aimed at all front-line professionals. It gives delegates a sound understanding of the national Prevent strategy and their role within it. 

  • Prejudice Incident Reporting 
    This half-day session is suitable for all public sector employees. Attendees will learn how to identify and report prejudice incidents.

  • Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Awareness
    This half-day training package is for practitioners, individuals and agencies on the frontline who are most likely to encounter potential human trafficking and slavery.
