Children and Young Peoples Services

Poole Children’s Trust is the partnership of agencies that deliver services for children, young people and their families in Poole. We are working together with all the partnership agencies working for children and young people in Poole in order to achieve the best possible outcomes for them.

What are we doing in Poole?

All partnership agencies in Poole are working together to improve opportunities for children and young people.

We want to ensure that all children in Poole are safe, healthy, enjoy leisure activities and play, do well at school, contribute to their local community and are prepared for adult life and the world of work.

Agencies are listening to and working with children and young people and their families on the best ways to achieve this.

Key messages,  aims and what we will do are in our Children's Services Strategic Plan 2014-17.

Poole's Children and Young People's Plan

Following consultation with parents, carers, children and young people, Borough of Poole published the Children and Young People's Plan sets out priorities to improve opportunities for children and young people.

How will progress be monitored?

Progress against our Plan is overseen by the Children’s Trust Board which has a membership of senior representatives from partnership agencies. Children and young people are also part of this process through the Children and Young People’s Shadow Board.

Poole Children's Trust Partners

Partners have agreed to co-operate and work together to improve outcomes for all children, young people and their families in Poole.
