Projects
Disco Jockeying (DJ) Project
The DJ Project runs every Wednesday and Thursday 4.00pm -7.00pm at Limelights, The Club for Young People. The project is open to young people aged 13-19 and it is free!
It provides one-to-one or two-to-one tuition from top DJ professionals Garphie Smith and Meri Ketley, for a minimum of 10 weeks in either mixing skills or music technology using top of the range equipment. The course covers all types of dance music, an introduction to the equipment, how to choose records, beat mixing, and more! At the end of the course you have the opportunity to record your own mix or tune onto a CD for you to keep.
