Everyone is entitled to join the Housing Register. You can do this by completing this form.
You are eligible to join the register if you are not already a tenant of a Poole Housing Partnership property or a Housing Association property within the Borough of Poole.
For example you may be;
- living in private rented accommodation
- living with parents
- living with a friend or relative
If you are a tenant of another Council or a Housing Association property, outside the Borough of Poole, you should complete this form.
Please use the following link if you require to transfer to another council owned property.
Before you complete this form please read the guidance notes at the end of the document. These explain what is required of each question. Please make sure you answer all the questions and sign the declaration at the end of the form.
We are unable to accept this form by email because it must have a signature. We also need certain proofs, which are explained in the Guidance Notes at the end of the form. Please print the form, sign it, enclose your proofs and return it to the address below.

Please note:
If you wish to join the housing register in Poole between 1/12/11 and 1/4/12 you can complete a form and send it to us but we will not process it until after April 2012, unless your circumstances are deemed urgent. We advise any applicants wishing to join the register in Poole to wait and complete a form after April 2012, at which point they will be able to apply ‘on line’. This will be a quicker way of applying than completing a paper copy and sending it to us early.
