Primary Care Trust

The Supporting People programme is run by the Commissioning Body which includes the following partners - the Borough of Poole, the National Probation Service and the Bournemouth & Poole Primary Care Trust.

Bournemouth & Poole Primary Care Trust (PCT) is committed to working closely with its partners in health and social care. These partners include GPs and practice staff, other primary care colleagues, the Poole Hospital NHS Trust, local authorities, local voluntary organisations and neighbouring Primary Care Trusts and NHS Trusts.

It aims to provide a full range of primary health care services. As far as possible these services will be provided according to health needs and tailored to the individual circumstances and preferences of patients, within the resources available.

Mission statement

Bournemouth & Poole Primary Care Trust will work in partnership with the local population to promote good health in the community and to provide holistic care. The Trust will strive to be a caring and supportive employer ensuring all staff have the opportunity for personal development.
