Social Services Transport
This service is organised by our Transportation Services Passenger Transport Section on behalf of Adult Commissioning, Adult Social Care and Well-being Unit and Children and Young People's Social Care. Transport is provided if it is identified as an assessed need.
Transport may be arranged by us for many reasons including:
- people attending day care establishments
- short term break transport
- children's contact visits
- transport to school for children in care
Transport is provided using our in house accessible vehicles or by using volunteer drivers, taxis or coaches.
