Poole Adult Social Services has been awarded top marks for delivering social services to people in Poole. Borough of Poole has been awarding a maximum three-star rating by the Commission for Social Care Inspection (CSCI) for the second year running.

We aim:
- to promote independence and to enable people to live as independently as possible in their own homes
- to support carers
- to protect the most vulnerable people, who often need to be looked after in residential or nursing homes and
- to enable people to be discharged from hospital as speedily and safely as possible.

- People with dementia
- People with a physical disability
- People with a learning disability
- People with a mental health issue
- People with sight or hearing impairment
- People who misuse drugs and alcohol
- People who are leaving hospital
